DCS’s Owner (Dave Sexton) has over 58 years of experience in construction and business operations. At the onset of his construction career, he developed a strong commitment to ethics and customer satisfaction. This commitment to customer service, coupled with his ideology, has been essential in his vision of business practices and continued growth of DCS, his employees, sub-contractors, and clients.
DCS’s Vice President of Construction (Mike Wright) has over 48 years of construction experience, 27 of which was as a self-employed general contractor. The VP of Construction creates and maintains construction scheduling, manages resources and risks, and maintains professionalism in business and project management. Responsibilities include commercial construction projects, sub-contractor solicitation, resource management, quality control, progress meetings, scheduling, problem solving, subordinate evaluations, and material submittal reviews.
DCS’s Office Manager (Tracey Hennis) has training and certified in Quality Improvement and has ISO 9001 certification. She has over 19 years in management and responsible for managing the office.
DCS’s Director of Safety and Loss Prevention has over 38 years in risk and safety management. Responsibilities include developing, maintaining, and managing the safety and loss prevention program for the company: conducts site safety inspections ensuring conformance to all applicable safety regulations and follow-ups when necessary, provides and puts in place solutions when sites are found to be in violation of safety standards. Company and client assets are protected through identification of risk and proactive loss prevention programs.
DCS’s Estimators combine their experience and commitment to DCS’s ethics to ensure all projects will adhere to our company and client standards. They are responsible for estimation of commercial construction projects, sub-contractor solicitation, resource management, quality control, scheduling, problem solving, and material submittal reviews.
DCS’s Project Managers are highly qualified in construction supervision and project management on projects up to $8,000,000.00. Their responsibilities include overseeing DCS employees and subcontractors through day-to-day operations, coordinating time frames for subcontractors, monitoring quality control, verifying delivery of materials to the jobsite, and managing communications. Training and certifications include the following:
